Magellan Maestro 4000 Model #980919-01 is all the navigational support I need and it performs perfectly right out of the box. The mapping gives you view by view and the vocal give you the turn by turn directions with fore warnings at 2 miles and 1/2 miles from turning point and a chime at the point of your turn. Typing in the address of your destination is all you need to get started.

This is an excellent GPS system. It has a wide screen, a good clear interface, and all the features one needs and none of the excessive ones that drive up cost and make it duplicate the functions of other equipment in the car. It picks up satellites very quickly and reacts very fast to changes in routes and the clarity of the maps is very good. So far I’m very pleased with it and the price was more than fair.
